Mass is celebrated on the first Thursday of each month in the hospital chapel. April’s Mass will be celebrated by FP on Thursday 3rd April 2025 at 12.15 pm. This Mass is for all the staff, patients, patient families, volunteers and parishioners of our area.
Also during Lent the Stations of the Cross will be prayed in the chapel at 12.15 pm each Thursday.
Another active morning last week with competitive domino games, lots of chat and completion of still more Easter bunnies and chick cream eggs. These are now ready for sale. All proceeds will go to our local Hospice so please be your usual generous selves as the Hospice certainly needs our financial support. This coming Wednesday we look forward to our own Quiz Master Extraordinaire, FP, who is compiling and leading us in a Team Quiz. On Friday, 28th March, we welcomed many students from our High School for their amazing Living Stations. It was a wonderful dramatic presentation in words and music of the Passion, and we can’t thank our students and teachers enough for coming along and sharing it with us. Friday 4th April Liz leads us in the Lampedusa Stations, and our final Lent Friday for this year, 11th April, will be Tom and the Choir. See you all there!
