A Red-Letter day in the life of the Parish in every respect. Cardinal Fitzgerald has spent his life on the interface between the Muslim and Christian worlds, both in key Vatican appointments and as Papal Nuncio in Egypt and Papal Delegate to the Arab States. We are delighted and honoured that he has agreed to come here to St Werburgh’s for a talk on the crucial question of how Islam and Christianity relate to each other in both theory and practice, and how both World Faiths might be able to work together to bring peace to a fractured Middle East. Wednesday, 13th November, 7.30 pm.
Minutes for both meetings now available: hard copy at the back of church and digitally on the website.
If you're interested in singing at our Carol Service (11.30 pm) and Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, please come to our Choir rehearsal on Thursdays at 6.00 pm in church. We're looking for singers for all parts (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass). We especially welcome singers who are able to raise the roof and support the descant line for many a beloved Christmas carol in the programme. If you have a friend who might be interested but isn't a parishioner, they too are most welcome. Email: tom.rozario@gmail.com .
