We are delighted that a group of 24 Servers, Parents and Family Members from our Parish will be joining thousands of others from around the country for this special Mass, on Saturday 21st September, the first time it has been held outside of London. Our coach will leave the Lay-By outside St. John’s Church (adjacent to the Amphitheatre) at 11.45 a.m. PROMPT. Servers will bring with them Cassocks/Cottas/Albs and Guild Medals if they have been enrolled. Black shoes are to be worn. A light packed lunch would also be a good idea. Our coach will also be picking up Servers and Parents from St. Columba’s in this joint Parish event. We hope to return home between 4.30 and 5.00 pm.
Peter has now finished the beautiful new antique cast iron hand-rails for the Front Door of the Parish House, and installed them. We can’t thank him enough – and grateful thanks from all our elderly parishioners who’ve struggled up and down those steps for far too long. Thanks, Peter!
