Friday 17th May was the official completion date for the external work, and you’ll see that they’re almost there. We’re going to miss that red cherry-picker when it goes, aren’t we? Syd and I had a meeting with the Site Manager on Wednesday morning, to go over our driveway and agree all the remedial work that needs to be done. This will be completed in the next fortnight. Meanwhile, do please, everyone, take care with the uneven flags and paving stones.

Annual Financial Return and Diocesan Appeal Minor Works List topped the Agenda – full Minutes on the Board soon. The Financial Return is already posted there, so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions if you have them. We allocated £20,000 from our Parish Share of the OMT Diocesan Appeal to our “Minor Works” List. £8,500 of that has already been spent – new Chasubles, Lectern, Altar Candle Sticks and Wood Frame for the Great War Memorial. Now Judith and Anne from the PC are spear-heading a review of the List and matching it with the remaining £11,500. Your views will be wanted!
All Students warmly invited!
Every other year, at this time, we hold Review Meetings for our Readers – in the intervening years, it’s for Eucharistic Ministers. (Does that make these meetings biannual or biennial??) Six sessions arranged for Readers, one hour in length, so please sign up for ONE of them. Failure to do so will mean you no longer wish to be part of the Readers’ Rota.

Now available and will be distributed at each Mass. This report itemises how the donations we have received throughout the year have been spent, providing vital support for the work undertaken by the SVP in our parish.
