Many thanks to everyone for a super day on Wednesday. The weather didn’t hold us back as we ate our sandwiches in the coach over to Liverpool. Lovely stroll up through Abercromby Square and the University to the Synagogue, along Catharine Street. Dennis, our Synagogue Guide, we could have listened to for hours, so informative and lively. John and Pat at the Victoria Building, the heart of the original University, couldn’t have made us more welcome – if you haven’t seen the Eleanor Rathbone exhibition, don’t miss it. Then over to the stunning Cathedral for Evening Prayer, and somehow we managed to force down our Italian Supper. Bernice, the size of that pizza! Sorry I couldn’t help you out…
