Sadly, a number of Funerals coming up this month:
After our very successful trip to St Mary’s Oscott last Wednesday, another date for the diary: a trip over to Liverpool to visit the stunning Princes Road Synagogue. Plus a few other treats. Full details next week but get that date in your Diaries NOW!
Please take one for yourself and for anyone else who’d appreciate knowing times.
Exactly six weeks to go to Completion Date, 17th May. 6 weeks, 5 days, 18 hours, 43 minutes…

Simple Lenten Lunch next Wednesday after Mass: just Soup and Bread. Do come along and join us. I’ve been asked to repeat my very successful Daffodil and Coriander Soup that everyone enjoyed so much at the Christian Aid Lunch, plus a special Apricot and Curry one. It’s my pleasure…
Usual practice in Church, Monday 8th April 7.00 pm.
Many thanks for three who’ve volunteered – much appreciated. We could still use a fourth if anyone were available and going to be at that Mass.
Followed by Exposition until 9.00 pm.
Next one – April 8th at St Mary’s Handbridge.
“Many thanks to all who supported our St Werburgh’s one on 25th March. Some 46 persons came and £409 was raised for Christian Aid. Special thanks to those who worked hard to make this possible, Marian.”
Now available: do please take yours and return on the Collection Plate when convenient. Many thanks!

Very good meeting, getting in place safe procedures for ladder use, evacuation in an emergency, fire safety and food regulations. It will mean a few changes, but I know we can count on everyone’s co-operation in our drive to make our Parish as safe a place as possible.
Many thanks to the singers and musicians who gave us such a super Concert last Sunday Evening, A real feast of Medieval and Renaissance Music!
A rather grainy black and white picture from the 1970’s, taken from the Newton Flats, and showing the Gable End of the old Gaumont Cinema, now the Bingo Hall, and then the whole of the south side of the Church. Not a view we’ve seen since. Do keep these lovely photos coming in, everyone!
