Your prayers are asked for the following who are sick: Heather Lannin, Lorraine McKeown, James Catterson, Ruth O’Kane, Henri Diacono, James Donovan, Garth Stocking and Kevin Maguire; and for all the sick of the Parish; and for those who have died recently, especially Peggy Ronayne, Graham Jones, Jo Matheson, Margaret Harris, Mary Ridgway and Peter Chesterman; and for those whose anniversaries occur about this time: Maurice Cashman, Patrick Foley, Eileen Glynn, Brian Barrett, Margaret Lightfoot, Teresa Brazzill, Bernard Rainville, Ellen Leyland, Raymond Langan, Norma Cambes, Margaret Dunne, Tadeusz Danczak, Judith Roberts and Joyce Higgins. May They All Rest in the Peace and Light of the Risen Lord Jesus.
We were all very saddened to hear on Wednesday of the death of Peggy, found by her daughter sitting in her chair exactly as if she were asleep. A very beautiful passing from this life to the Life Eternal. Aged 85, Peggy had so many health worries, and yet soldiered on magnificently, here at 10.45 Mass, as ever, last Sunday. A beautiful lady, whose faith and family were inextricably important to her. We will all celebrate her life and faith in a Requiem Mass on Wednesday 27th Feb at 12.00 noon, followed by burial with her beloved Eddie in Blacon. May she rest in peace.
Ian, the very efficient and courteous Site Manager next door, has been to see us to say they’re ready to take down the scaffolding and start digging out the foundations for the boundary wall between us. This is essential work, of course, and it will mean the passageway being closed Monday to Friday, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm for the next fortnight. Thanks, everyone, for your co-operation!

A fortnight ago, we introduced the Refrain of the Gloria from Dan Schutte’s ‘Mass of Christ the Saviour’, and last week, at 9.00, the sung Verses. Today, at both Masses, we introduce the Sanctus and Great Amen. Many thanks, James and Choir!
Not too late to make your contribution!
