Your prayers are asked for the following who are sick: Lorraine McKeown, James Catterson, Ruth O’Kane, Henri Diacono, James Donovan, Garth Stocking and Kevin Maguire; and for all the sick of the Parish; and for those who have died recently, especially Brian Roberts; and for those whose anniversaries occur about this time: Thomas Burrows, Sally Stanton, Roy Galland, Amelia Callaghan, Michael Hayward, Veronica Evans, Eric Tasker, John Owens, Mary Anderson, Dorothy Colley, Roger Doidge, Gary O’Reilly, Peter Croft, Baby Ella Louise Axon, Tony Fields, Leigh Johnson and Mary Hatton. May They All Rest in Peace.
A few Booklets left over from 6th November if anyone would like one as a souvenir.
We were very touched and grateful to be remembered in the Will of John Manifold, a Parishioner for many years. His last address here was Steven Court, behind the Crossed Foxes, where Pauline faithfully brought him Holy Communion for so long. His Bequest will just about cover the cost of the Great War Memorial, very appropriate as so many of those men came from the Steven Street area. Thank you, John, and God reward you in the Life Eternal.
Do give them a good look, in the War Memorial Chapel, and both produced by local Craftsmen.
At Festival Church, Queen Street, 10.30-2.00 pm, to raise funds for the Hospice. Anne Collier is organising this, and she’d be very grateful for offers of help (313409).
Slightly earlier time, 12.30 pm, owing to 2.00 pm Funeral at Pentrebychan.
Under the Newspaper Table, for any non-renewable waste, eg used paper handkerchiefs…
Playing Sunday 25th, for the First Holy Communion Enrolment Mass, 10.45 pm.
Moved from Wed 21st to Mon 26th, 7.00 pm, as I have an afternoon Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday in Sheffield for one of our former High School Students. Always a joy to see them graduate, cap and gown, cheesy photos…!
Just over a year since his climbing accident, and he has performed miracles, in his wheelchair, in his specially adapted car, back in Edinburgh to complete his fourth and final year of Uni. I’m going up for a visit on Thursday – he doesn’t want me to, but that’s tough. Delighted to take any cards or small gifts with me.
Now on the table at the back of Church, if you fancy giving Aunt Maisie a Goat this year.
Also on the Table at the back of church.
Services at Grosvenor Manor (Heath Lane) and Crabwall Hall (Mollington) really up and running now. Next plate to be set spinning: Pinetum!
Monday next (tomorrow) at 7-00 pm for about an hour, in the Parish House. We look at the Mass Readings for the next four weeks. Everyone very warmly welcome to join us!
Beautiful Mass last Tuesday for the families for whom we’ve conducted Funerals over the last three years. This seems to be really appreciated, as we write to them all personally, especially those who do not attend here regularly and may not have any other public way of marking their friend or family member’s anniversaries.
Tonight, 7.00 pm. Remember, “Made, not Bought!” It’ll mean another 2.00 am start for me, but aren’t our Students just so worth it?
Looks as if, at long last, they may have a departure date. It’ll be on our Newsletter, for those who’d like to wave them farewell.
2.00 am once again, but seeing those little faces wreathed in smiles as they tucked into my Chicken and Bacon sandwiches made it all so worthwhile. Lemon Drizzle Cake? To die for.
£10 sb, £20 hb. Ideal Christmas Presents.
Sat Nov 24th at 10.30. Transport provided, all welcome. For further information contact Stephen Perry on 07775 781204.
Whoever’s doing this, would they please stop? We can’t have a warm church with them off!

Thanks, everyone - another super dramatic production, based on the Letters between Wilfred Owen and his mother, Susan.
Chapel of the Immaculate Conception – and just look at that view behind the altar! Thanks Steve, Diane, Ronan and Madam.
Many thanks, everyone, for your generosity.
Any items, please, to any Council Member.
