We will be performing on a fairly regular basis and wish to play similar music to Tim Hughes, Michael W Smith and Matt Redman. If you are/know of any competent pianists or drummers above the age of 18 please contact Ant Hunt on 07714 160 268.”

Excellent response. Seven of the ten names have been “owned” with the request they stay on. One was owned and asked to be taken off. Three awaiting ownership: Iris Philp, Christine Davies and Michael Morton. Any information, please?
Super recital from Toby Stanford on Friday – what a talented pianist! Good luck, Toby, with starting Uni this autumn. Best wishes from the Werbies!

Always good to congratulate Parishioners when they receive awards and honours. Delighted for them. Jealous? Me? No, not in the least. Why would I be? Not that a measly little DBE or Knighthood would exactly hurt them. So, truly honoured in the week to get one medal at last – for my 100th Blood Donation! On the Altar for you all to admire. But do you find the idea of 100 people out there walking around with a pint of Papa P’s finest in their veins as scary as I do?
