Building Work Next Door: Almost There!

Friday 17th May was the official completion date for the external work, and you’ll see that they’re almost there. We’re going to miss that red cherry-picker when it goes, aren’t we? Syd and I had a meeting with the Site Manager on Wednesday morning, to go over our driveway and agree all the remedial work that needs to be done. This will be completed in the next fortnight. Meanwhile, do please, everyone, take care with the uneven flags and paving stones.

Photo of the Week: First Holy Communion 1954

You turned up trumps with the 1951 Dee Convent Sixth Form Photo, all individuals on it identified. Last week, another one – First Holy Communion in St Werburgh’s from three years later, 1954. Ten of the faces identified so far: we’ll leave it up for one more week to see if we can trace the others.
